Year-End Thingamajiggy

Hey everyone! :D

I just can't pass up the chance to say that I pray everyone will have an awesome new year ahead of us, and of course a gratefulness for God's faithfulness through the years.

Love y'all! Will be adding some stuff to this later.

We're revamping! :D

Yes, you heard that right, dear readers. We are revamping this blog as a symbol of stepping into a new season of my life, and loving it! :) LOL. I know I've stepped into that season a long time ago, but this is when I am actually aware of it. I also did this not over a year ago when I was coming clean and in need of change. I still love my present theme, but it's just that sometimes we have to embrace change and growth. Who wants to be stagnant in anything anyway?

[caption id="attachment_450" align="alignnone" width="573"]Present theme, before we make any changes. :D Present theme, before we make any changes. :D[/caption]

So what is this season, you might ask. A season of continued healing, academic excellence, singlehood, discipleship, fear of the Lord, and an intimacy with my God and Savior like never before. Some of those things may just be for a short period of time, and some may last longer.

I'd like to stress about this area: I never knew there is a circumstance such as having a lot of love for the Lord, and not so much fear of Him. Pray that I get to have a healthy dose of fear and reverence for God. It may be weird, but the last time I got tempted right in front of my face, I didn't run from it. But God reminded me of my pastor saying, "The fear of the Lord will keep you from sinning. And when you have that fear, you will have no other fear." It definitely kept me, and I think I need more of that.

But this is here and now and I'm embracing it and expecting that I'll come out of the season/s with complete healing of all the brokenness in my past, full joy and wholeness, bearing good fruits in discipleship, a renewed patience for waiting on God first and then my man, enjoying a deeper relationship with Christ, and being more mature and Christ-like. I think some of those things are areas we never stop growing in.

\\ This is here and now. It may be hard, but it's all worth it.

P.S. I will be changing the design a couple of times before I stick to one. Please don't get too confused. :)

Making it up to you ~_~

Guess what? I just went to the movies to see Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Yeah, here in California.

Haha! I know it's not the proper thing to say after leaving you out here for a month or more without any update. I am so sorry, and you don't know how my guilt is eating me up because I dropped you all of a sudden when I, myself, hate it when people do that to me. *__*

Some beautiful thing I saw on my way to Downtown L.A.

Shot from my iPhone which was selflessly given by my mom. T_T I miss her.

For the missed New Year and Christmas greetings, here's what I have to say.

I LOVE YOU! :)

And I guess that's enough, 'cause I mean it. Well, I meant that for my blog. And to you as well, dear reader. I am quite surprised to have a steady number of viewers even though I've been gone for a reaaaally long while. Thank you for being more faithful than I am. Haha.

Hiatus is over, baby! Time for some real ass-kickin'. (I can't believe I'm talking teenager right now -- since I've been here, actually.) #thegrosssideofme

The bottomline of all bottomlines, I wouldn't be writing in this blog if I wasn't moved by that undeserved grace. 'Cause this blog thing would be nothing if He weren't in it. :DD

*Indication of some ongoing wonders caused by my Creator. Go figure.

Blog undergoes emotional cleansing

Cheers! I have just re-modeled this blog as of today. I liked it like it was before, it was really "me". I tried to find other ideas since I wasn't content with the design. And well, I settled for this simple white lay-out. I guess creativity oozes out when you start on a clean slate. I'm a minimalist. Sadly, I don't know how to edit graphics or deal with html. If I did, this site would be a little more elegant.

It used to look like this. Pretty cute, huh?

But then, I love how it is now. It's still very "me". Me is a case-to-case basis. Hahaha. Jill-of-all-Trades, 'nuff said. If by the time you're reading this you're not looking at an all-white blog, then my taste must have changed. For now, I need a washout.
